CHANGES TO THE PORTAL DRIVE APP
The Community Link Resident Portal has received a new look! There is also a new portal app to download to use the portal. In the Apple & Android App Stores, look for Community Link Pro App.  (The App Store may not have the new logo, so the magenta stick people may still be showing until the new app is downloaded.)

Update - TOMORROW'S GFL PICKUP IS BULK
Please email rvawphoasupport@gflenv.com or call 804-843-9288 for the HOA Contract division of GFL. Additionally, you can click on the "TRASH and RECYCLING" link in the REFERENCE section at the end of every What's Happening In Ford's Colony email to find all of the information regarding the trash and recycling services.
 
CLUBS & ACTIVITIES NEWS 
 
NEW - PORCH MONTHLY FOOD DRIVE
Have you registered yet to be a PORCH donor?  Join us in making a difference for the hungry in our Williamsburg community by registering to be a donor.  We collected over 1600 pounds of food in July that was donated to Meals on Wheels for Kids. 
 
If interested in registering or need more information, please email Marie Phillips at mariephillips88@gmail.com with your name and address.  Our next food collection date is Tuesday, August 4.  Thank you for your consideration.
 
NEW  - GREEN TEAM SOFT PLASTICS COLLECTION
First Saturday Green Team Soft Plastic and “Got Sneakers” collection will be on August 1 at Westbury Park from 9 to10 a.m., weather permitting. Please see the attachments for acceptable and not acceptable items. See attachments for “Acceptable and Not Acceptable” items for the Soft Plastic Collections.

NEW - JAMES CITY LIONS CLUB CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT AT FORD'S COLONY COUNTRY CLUB
The James City Lions Club will hold its annual Charity Golf Tournament on September 11, at the Ford’s Colony Country Club. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. The tournament begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start and will be followed by lunch in the Country Club Pavilion. In addition to top awards there will be raffle drawings with prizes of $1,000 and $250, and door prizes. Individuals and foursomes are encouraged to register.
