Sunday, May 5th to Sunday, June 2nd, 8 a.m. at Westbury Park Parking Lot|
The Running Club's upcoming monthly runs/walks will be on May 5 and June 2. They start at 8 a.m. at the Westbury Park parking area. The club has expanded its scope to include walkers. Runners and walkers of all ages and ability are welcome. The measured distances are 1 mile, 5K and 5 miles. Something for everyone! Hope you'll join us. |Kids Spring Tennis Lessons|
Tuesday, May 21st to Thursday, June 13th at S&T Club|
The Ford's Colony Tennis Club and interested Ford's Colony parents are partnering with tennis pro, Mike Prokopik, from Two Rivers-Governor's Land, to offer kids’ tennis classes this spring. Classes will be 6-8 kids per class. The classes run on Tuesdays and Thursdays for four weeks from May 21 – June 13. Kids are grouped by age with the younger attendees having a 45 minute class at a cost of $45 and the older groups having an hour class for $55. RSVP at url = bit.ly/2UAlwjn. |Trailblazers Take a Tribe Trek|
Saturday, June 1st, 10 a.m. at Community Services Parking Lot|
The Trailblazers will take a walk around the William & Mary campus on Sat., June 1. We will meet at the Community Services Building Parking Lot at 10 a.m. and drive to the campus. The walk will last 1.5-2 hours, and we will stop for refreshments afterwards. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Dues are $5 annually.

Thursday, June 6th, 6 pm at Country Club Pavilion|
The big finish to the end of the Newcomers year will be on June 6, with our “Rockin’ Backyard Barbecue” with music by Marsh Hawk. Great music, lots of dancing, good food and drink and fun and games promise to make it a memorable “Night Out”. See you at the Country Club Pavilion from 6 to 10 pm. If you don’t already have your tickets, the deadline is May 30. However, if you buy them before May 25, instead of $35/pp they will be just $30/pp. What a bargain! Join us for our 13th Annual Conservancy Golf Challenge to benefit the Historic Virginia Land Conservancy on Thursday, June 20th, at Ford’s Colony Country Club for a Captain’s Choice tournament on the spectacular Blackheath golf course. Prizes, raffles and an awards dinner follow the 1 p.m. shotgun start. If your registration is less than four golfers for this flighted, net event, golfers will be arranged into teams. Each session will begin at 1 p.m. and end at 5 p.m. However, for the opening day, participants must arrive by 12:45 p.m. to allow enough time to complete the registration process before the session starts. AARP SmartDriver members need to bring card for discount. All attendees need to bring drivers license. $15 Members/ $20 Non-members.
