WINGS sponsors bird walks most Tuesdays on Ford's Colony's nature trail. Interested birders should meet at the Westbury Park, parking lot by 8 a.m. Please wear good walking shoes. Binoculars are recommended.

Trailblazers Learn About Preserves in Virginia
Monday, February 10th, 7 p.m. at S&T Club
Did you know that in addition to State Parks, there are over 60 Natural Area Preserves in Virginia, some of which are accessible to the public? At the Trailblazers' next meeting on February 10, Rebecca Wilson from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will talk about these preserves. Rebecca is the Longleaf Pine Restoration Specialist, Prescribed Fire Manager, and Regional Supervisor for DCR.She will focus on preserves with public access, what makes these areas special and how to enjoy them without harming the protected resources. James River Association at Trailblazers
Monday, March 9th, 7 p.m. at S&T Club
Trailblazers will meet on March 9 at 7 p.m. at the S&TClub. Our speaker for March is Emily Hinson from the James River Association(JRA). Emily has family ties to the Hampton Roads area and attended the College of William and Mary. She has spent time on the James River both as a student and a rower. She returned to the James River in 2017 to work as the Outreach Manager in the JRA’s Williamsburg office. The James River Association promotes conservation and responsible stewardship of the river. JRA monitors the river, responds to problems, seeks policy changes, and leads projects to restore the river’s health. Come learn how you can help the James. Non-members welcome. Enjoy amazing music featuring local group, Joe's Day Off. Featuring a 50's-60's themed dance party and open to all residents, hosted by the Dance Club. Dance Club Party

Dance Club's dance party is open to all Ford's Colony residents and their guests. Featuring will be a local band, Joe's Day Off, playing hits from the 1950's to 1960's. Be-bop, swing, cha cha or line dance. Dress in an outfit from your favorite decade- 50's or 60's. So pull out your poodle skirt and leather jacket or bell bottoms and beads! Model Railroad Open House Tour

The Ford's Colony Model Railroad Club presents it's eleventh Layout Open House Tour. See the progress being made on six model railroads in our neighborhood. Bring your kids, grandkids, friends, spouse or anyone who likes trains.

Philadelphia Tour - Travel Club
Friday, April 17th to Sunday, April 19th
