Get Your Kids Ready for Swim Season
Monday, June 15th to Monday, July 27th, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at S&T Pool
Reservations open for swim lessons starting May 1.
Lessons are 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday at the S&T pool. If lessons are canceled due to weather during the week, then Friday is the make up day.

Free Pickleball Clinic for Kids
Saturday, June 20th, 4 to 6 p.m. at S&T Club Pickleball Courts
The Pickleball Club is excited to announce a free clinic for kids ages 10-17 interested in learning the basics of the game of Pickleball. Ran Bland, an experienced coach, will be facilitating clinics on June 20 and July 18 at the S&T Club Pickleball Courts from 4-6 PM. Please note these clinics are for children new to Pickleball only and require pre-registration.
Green Team Soft Plastics Collection- June 27 (not on July 4)
Saturday, June 27th, 9 to 10 a.m. at Westbury Park
The Green Team Soft Plastic and “Got Sneakers” collections will also include June 27 from, 9 to 10 a.m. at Westbury Park (since July 4th is a holiday and the first Saturday).
PLEASE, NO CONTAINERS!
As long as it is not raining, we will collect sneakers, in any condition, tied together, for refurbishing and recycling. Also- SOFT plastic - think grocery, mulch, produce and, Ziploc bags… (please, no bottles, clamshells, foam or plastic that does not stretch ie., candy wrappers, dog food bags, dollar store plastic tablecloths).
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
Sunday, June 28th to Sunday, July 19th, 5 to 7 p.m. at S&T Pool and Patio
Come make a splash at Pool & Tunes and swim to some great music by Back Porch Swing on June 28; Audio Portrait on July 19 and again on August 16 will be Back Porch Swing.
Dance and hang out on the patio, swim while listening to great tunes or lounge on the pool deck.
Open to everyone, kids of all ages, young and not so young.

Storytime with Christina Shawn
Tuesday, July 14th, 3:30 to 5 p.m. at S&T Club
Join the Activities Committee and Colony Kids along with Christina Shawn, Children’s Book Author for a fun story time event full of laughs, imagination, and cool kids' book reads!
Bring your little ones for an in-person storytime and book signing with reading specialist, literacy coach, and children's book author, Christina Shawn. After a day in the pool or out in the sun, come join us to sing songs, connect as a community, and listen to books about growing families and all the big feelings that accompany change.
Christina's background is in early literacy foundations and all of her books and programs are aimed to help children feel seen, heard, and understood, while building a love for books and reading.
What you can expect: songs, stories, a craft, and playful interactions, plus time for Q & A about books, literacy and publishing.
All tickets include one copy of AND THEN CAME YOU, which Christina will sign and personalize. Additional copies can be purchased ahead of time or at the event.
Fun Fact, Christina's parents, John and Lucy DeLillo, are active members of the Ford's Colony community!
