WHAT’S HAPPENING IN FORD’S COLONY

FCHOA NEWS

New - PUBLIC SCHOOL REDISTRICTING PROPOSED TO SPLIT FORD'S COLONY
The proposed WJCC school redistricting maps have now been released for public review.

The attached proposed redistricting plan flyer would divide Ford’s Colony students among multiple schools, disrupting established peer relationships, support systems, and the continuity many students have experienced throughout their educational journey.

Research consistently shows that school stability and strong peer and community connections play an important role in student success, engagement, and overall well-being.

Please join us at any of the following school board meetings to voice your concern, have your questions answered and stand up for the residence of Ford’s Colony and our kids.

We also urge you to fill out the online survey regarding the proposed redistricting Maps. It is imperative to take the survey on or before June 7.
See full letter attached below. Contact redistrictingmattersfc@gmail.com with any questions.
