New - BACK TO SCHOOL
The first day of school is Monday, August 24. Children, parents, yellow buses will appear, sometimes suddenly, mornings and afternoons. Drivers need to be vigilant. Virginia law requires motorists to stop for stopped school buses with flashing red lights and an extended stop sign when approaching from any direction.

The WJCC buses are equipped with cameras and motorists will be prosecuted for failure to stop. Children do not always look for motorists so motorists must look for children.

Update - TOMORROW'S GFL PICKUP IS RECYCLING
Please email rvawphoasupport@gflenv.com or call 804-843-9288 for the HOA Contract division of GFL. Additionally, you can click on the "TRASH and RECYCLING" link in the REFERENCE section at the end of every What's Happening In Ford's Colony email to find all of the information regarding the trash and recycling services.
