FCHOA NEWS
PLAN YOUR ROUTE
Weather and equipment issues pending, milling and paving will continue today on Edinburgh. There are 3 workdays of paving left with the contractor starting near Eastbury today and working their way towards St. Andrew’s to complete Edinburgh.
There will be delays of 5-15 minutes and slower traffic flow under the guidance of traffic control personnel. Please use caution and follow the instructions of the traffic control personnel working to get everyone safely to their destinations.
Be on the lookout for blast e-mails showing where the paving will take place the following day and be able to avoid the construction area and associated delays in your travels.
Contractor will move to Formby and Leeds neighborhoods after Edinburgh is completed and a flyer will be put in every paper box in these neighborhoods once the schedule is set.
TRASH TALK
An email was sent by from JoAnn Gora, President of the FCHOA, on April 29 inviting input on a new trash and recycling proposal for Ford’s Colony.
The survey was not sent to residents in the Eaglescliffe Condos, Links Townhomes or Nottingham since these sub associations include trash pickup.
These sub associations will be excluded from FCHOA billing if the centralized trash pickup is contracted by the FCHOA.
The survey will be re-sent this week to those households that have yet to respond. The survey is being sent to the primary email listed in the
Portal for each household. Only one survey response per household, please. If your household has not received a survey by May 8th, please email
boardsurvey@fchoa.net. Please check your spam filter if necessary.
The survey is short and will take only a few minutes. Please respond to the survey at your convenience, prior to May 18, 2025. Your input is important to the FCHOA Board of Directors. Thank you for taking the time to respond to the survey.
THE PATH TO SUCCESS IS OCCASIONALLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION
The Williamsburg West walking path near Westbury Hills is being relocated. This work is being done to make the path safer to use by providing more space between the walking path and the road. Staff will be removing this approximately 175’ portion of the path, then installing the stone base for the new path.
This portion of the walking path will be closed while this work takes place. You can go around the work by walking on the road and we ask that everyone please be cautious driving, walking and biking in this area while this work takes place.
In the next 2-3 weeks paving of the entire Williamsburg West path, including this new re-route will take place. Another notice will go out once the paving schedule is finalized.

COMMUNITY NEWS
2025 MGA-OTMDC RESIDENTS CAMPAIGN… COMING TO A CLOSE
The last day of the Residents Campaign is May 9. As of April 28, we received $34,165. This is 76% of our way to our objective of $45,000. We still need $10,835.
If you have not yet contributed, please consider giving the gift of health to those most in need. Imagine the anxiety of a young couple who have a sick child and little to no resources for health care. Imagine their relief after they visit Olde Towne for medical treatment and their child gets better.
And imagine how you would feel about helping to make this happen.
The MGA and OTMDC sincerely thank all contributors.
