NEED HELP AT HOME? YOUTH AT YOUR SERVICE!
Many young people in Ford's Colony are offering services, at a fee, for those of us who need help. Twenty-seven young people are offering services that include dog walking, tutoring, yard work, and more. The Youth - At Your Service listings is available anytime on the
Portal in the Documents box, in the "G - YOUTH AT YOUR SERVICE and CLUB MEMBER LISTS" folder for you to view and print.
THE MESSAGE BOARD
The Message Board is available on your Portal to ask questions, share thoughts, and post lost & found items for your neighbors to view and reply. Instructions on how to use the feature are in the Documents box, in the "F- PORTAL HOW TO's" folder.

SNAZZY YOUTH TENNIS - START OF NEW SCHEDULED CLASSES
Starting Monday, April 14. No requirement to attend all classes, but please attend as many as possible. Class payment can be cash/check, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal.

GARDEN CLUB –TRICKY TRAY FUN'DRAISER
Ford’s Colony residents and their guests are invited to attend the April 30 Tricky Tray “fun”draiser held by Ford’s Colony Garden Club, to sponsor environmental, educational and community grants. A $20 admission gets you a door prize ticket and 25 raffle tickets. Come try to win one of the wonderful 90+ baskets while enjoying refreshments. Doors open at the S&T Club at 6 p.m.
ANNUAL COMMUNITY EGG (ACE) INITIATIVE HAS BEGUN
Beginning early March, and continuing until the middle of May, you will be seeing over 50 ACE volunteers in orange or green utility vests, walking each of our 40 ponds looking for Canada goose nests. As stewards for achieving a healthy goose presence, volunteers will be oiling eggs within each nest before incubation begins, to humanely control annual and long term increases in our goose population. JAMES CITY COUNTY FREE CERT TRAINING
April 3 thru April 26
In an emergency, fire and police may not be able to reach you as quickly as they would otherwise - you should be prepared.
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a national program designed to educate residents about emergency preparedness. CERT is an all-abilities program available at no charge to James City County residents, aged 18 and older. This 35-hour course is free. If you are interested, visit the

SPRING FESTIVAL SUPPORTING GREATER WILLIAMSBURG
Enjoy a spring evening and party with the James City Lions Club at its second annual Spring Festival fundraiser on Thursday, May 22, from 5:30 - 9 p.m., at the Ford’s Colony Country Club Pavilion, 240 Ford’s Colony Drive, Williamsburg.
Net proceeds will fund James City Lions Club community service projects. Individual tickets are $60 and include hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner and one complimentary game ticket. This casual evening’s fun events include a putting contest, cornhole tournament, raffle, and live and silent auctions. The Lions Club is grateful for Presenting Sponsors Chesapeake Bank and Chesapeake Wealth Management, and additional sponsors: Williamsburg Realty, Cheri Mulhare, and Liz Moore and Associates. And special thanks to Aaron Williams, president of Williams Landscaping and Design, who will serve as auctioneer.
