To make the HOA forms easier to find and use, we have made the following changes:
- The individual forms have been removed from the Portal’s left menu pane.
- A new item has been added to the Portal’s left menu pane titled “REQUEST FORMS”, you will use this menu item to choose from a dropdown list of forms.
- A new folder has been created in the Documents block of the Portal titled “PORTAL HOW-TOs”. TALK OF THE COLONY CORRECTION
The "Colony Auto - Road Trips Through Asia" article on page 28 of the October Talk of the Colony issue was mistakenly attributed to the wrong author. Jerry Sibley is the author of that article. Our apologies to Jerry and the Colony Auto Enthusiasts club.

CARING NEIGHBORS TRANSPORTATION SERVICES - DRIVERS NEEDED
Transportation Services is a free transportation service provided by Ford’s Colony resident volunteer drivers as part of the Caring Neighbors Service Groups. It is a service provided for Ford’s Colony residents who cannot drive themselves to and from medical or other appointments in the Williamsburg area.
If you are interested in becoming one of our volunteer drivers, please contact the coordinator at
transportation.fchoa@gmail.com to sign up. This is how the program works - when a request for a ride is received, all volunteer drivers are sent an email notifying them of the ride request and the specific details about the ride request (address of appointment, length of time of appointment, etc.). If the driver is not able to assist, they simply disregard the email. If the driver can assist, they simply reply back to the email and let the coordinator know that they can provide the ride. The coordinator will give the final confirmation to the driver to give the ride requester a call to set up the ride. It’s that simple and a wonderful way to meet your neighbors!
