YOUR VOTE IS NEEDED
Deadline July 25
The voting for proposed changes to the Ford’s Colony Homeowner Association Bylaws is now open and will run through noon on July 25 and will be finalized at the Special Member Meeting held prior to the Board Meeting on July 25. Each household has one vote. Read the article by Board Vice-President, JoAnn Gora, for more information on the proposed changes on page 3 of the July

To vote:
Login to your Community Link Resident Portal
Click on “Elections” on the left, blue block
Click on the [Vote Now] button in the “Vote Status” column
Click on the appropriate button to select your choice for each item
When you have made your selection on all items, click on the [Confirm Vote] button to finalize your vote.
Use the [Next], [Prev], and [Last] buttons to move back and forth through the election items. When finished, you will see “Congratulations! Your vote has been accepted.” If you wish to print for your records: Hold down the [Ctrl] key on your keyboard, then hit the [P] key.
Click on the “Home” icon on the left, blue block to exit the vote. You will receive an email confirming your household’s vote.

Homeowners are registering every day. If you haven’t signed up yet, contact community services at
admin@fchoa.net to request another invitation to register.
All registered property owners are now in the Member Directory and a .pdf version of the last directory posted on fchoa.org has been added to the Documents section.
How-to information about the Portal is on the FAQs page of fchoa.org and is being updated with Q&As about the Community Link Portal as we move forward. And there are short videos available on the Home page of fchoa.org, under "Announcements", to guide you through your registration process and initial login and how to use the Election feature.

YOUTH SWIM LESSONS –
TWO MORE SESSIONS
Lessons are Monday through Thursday and sessions run typically
from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. dependent on number of attendees participating.

POOL HOURS - WESTBURY PARK
Reminder: Killer Whales swim team continues swim practices Monday through Fridays now until July 26.
Westbury Pool opens at Noon for general/free swim Monday through Friday and weekends at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Lap/Exercise Swim at Westbury Pool – Now through July 26 | Monday through Friday 6:30 to 7:45 a.m.
July 26 through August 23 | 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Masters Club Swim at Westbury Pool – Now through August 31 | 8 to 9:30 a.m.
POOL HOURS - S&T CLUB
Monday through Friday | 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Weekends | 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Water Aerobics – Now through August 30 | 8 to 9 a.m.
As a reminder at both pools there are open lanes for anyone wanting to lap swim during the regular pool hours.

RECYCLING SERVICE ALERT FROM
JAMES CITY COUNTY
The current $7/month recycling charge is increasing to $10.50/month. The quarterly bill you receive in August will reflect this increase. The County administrative and contract costs for curbside recycling have increased.
