Tennis Club Picnic

Principals from the three public schools, D.J. Montague Elementary, Lois E. Hornsby Middle School and Lafayette High School, attended by Ford’s Colony children will discuss program and performance highlights at their school, areas for focus and improvement in the coming year and how we can support our schools. Coffee and cookies provided by the Activities Committee;sponsored by Activities Committee, Colony Kids and Volunteers for Education.  Drop-off babysitting for the hour will be provided with board games and coloring for ages toddler and older. Jam Band Concert

Jam Band Concert - On the evening of October 4th the Rock/Blues Jam Band will have a mini-concert outside the Exercise Studio, adjacent to the Community Services Building (off Manchester). The event will be from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and refreshments for a fun concert on a fall evening.
 
Trailblazer Pot Luck Dinner

Our Trailblazers’ meeting on Monday, October 9, at 6 p.m., in the S&T Club, will be our annual potluck dinner. The dish you should bring for sharing will be determined by the letter of your last name: A-G = Side Dish; H-R = Main Dish; S-Z = Dessert. We’ll provide glasses, plates, plastic knives, forks, and spoons. Please note we will begin at 6 p.m., one hour earlier than usual. To participate in our outings, join our club and register with Prince Butler to receive the necessary information. Annual dues are $5. Out & About

Out & About is a social club that meets the third Saturday of each month. Ford's Colony Model Railroad Club Library Show
Saturday, December 2nd to Sunday, December 3rd at Model Railroad Club Library Show
 
The Ford’s Colony Model Railroad Club will display seven operating model railroad layouts at its annual show at the Williamsburg Regional Library at 7770 Croaker Road in Norge.  Layouts in G, O, HO, and N scale sizes will be displayed. The display will be open Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, December 3 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. 
 
The library can be reached from intersection of Centerville Road/Lightfoot Post Office by taking Richmond Road west 2.7 miles to Croaker Road, then right on Croaker Road 4/10 mile to library on the right. Or, take I-64 to exit 231A, then south on Croaker Road 7/10 mile to library on the left.
